The sender is writing to a religious figure requesting him: 1) to pray for a friend whose slave has gone missing, and has made a vow with God for the slave’s safe return; 2) to pray for the strengthening of the sender’s own faith.

 ایزد تعالی توفیق [بـ]ـر [+ 1] مولا[نـ]ـا برکات کناد 2
 بندۀ است نذری دارذ غایب دعا 3
[آن (؟)] دوست می کند تا خدای تعالی بران 4
نذر بسلامت باز رساند دعا فرماید 5
ان شا الله مستجاب باشد 6
دیگر هم بجهت توفیق طاعت 7
دعا فرماید تا خدای تعالی توفیق 8
طاعت این بنده را ارزانی فرماید 9
 ان شا الله وحده 10
Translation
Folio:
1 [Bismillah ?]
2 May God almighty bless the mawlānā with good fortune.
3 There is a missing slave. [His owner] has made a vow [with God].
4 That friend is praying, so that God almighty
5 returns [the slave to him] in safety, through this vow. Please pray [for him].
6 God willing, it shall be accepted.
7 In addition, please also pray [to strengthen my] obedience [to God],
8 so that God almighty 
9 graces this slave with obedience.
10 God willing. [Praise be to God] alone.
