Translation
Folio:
1 Oh God, that day it was you who got Ibrahim out of the cave.
2 May you take us, too, out of our cave of our being, so that
3 we can move freely in the dominions of your  love, leaving
4 behind everything, and recite, “I have turned
5 my face to Him who created the heavens and the earth, as a man of pure faith,
6 and I am not one of those who associate others with God.” Oh [you who has] the power of perfection, give each person a hatchet
7 of love, so that we enter the temple of our temptations to
8 break all the idols, for “Then he turned them into
9 fragments, except for a big one they had.” It has been some years that
10 our temptations have been carving idols
11 of sin. Enable the Ibrahim of my heart
1 to break all of them with a single hatchet of repentance. O Lord,
2 Nimrod, the devil, who lodges in our nature the catapult of temptation
3 in the place of our hearts’ Ibrahim so that he can throw our hearts in the fire;
4 Help us with your beneficence and excellence. Oh Lord,
5 you turned the fire of that day into sweet-scented flowers.
6 And you proclaimed that, “O fire, be a coolness and peace for
7 Ibrahim.” Turn the fire temple of our depravity into sweet-scented flowers
8 and announce, “God will change their
9 evil deeds into good deeds,” by your mercy, oh most merciful one. [The translation in Persian is,]
10 “Whenever any of the followers of Muḥammad, peace be upon him, do any wrong,
11 they will feel remorse, and will do good [instead]. I will turn their evil deeds into
12 good deeds.” The end.
