Folio:
[+ 2] I am safe and sound, and without any troubles,
other than the sorrow of [not seeing] those dear ones. God willing,
this wish will be fulfilled very soon. Your letter has just arrived,
[and] they have brought news of your good health. It made us very happy. Please
always send news of your good health, so that it might give me some comfort.
From my side, please send regards to the brother ʿUthmān and Muḥammad (?),
and convey [my] longing [to see them]. Please send regards to the sister Fāṭima and Sīmīn,
and convery [my] longing [to see them, and my hope] that they remember us in their prayers.
Please send regards to anyone who asks about us. May he live long.
(right margin:) deliver [+ 2] and [my] longing. The sister knows how many people come [here], and yet you do not send us a single turban,
(bottom margin:) as if you have forgotten [about] us.
