This is the bride’s copy of the marriage contract of Ot-tegin and Chat in the form of a letter addressed by Ot-tegin to Chēr, Chat’s adoptive father. It corresponds to the Document of Consent (γολοβοστογο) mentioned in Document Uv. In it, the terms of separation are laid out. Of special interest is the clause that if the bride is taken by enemies and sexually offended, the husband shall release her.
