این خطیست که نبشته آمذ فران سبیل که بخواست الیاس بن شاه بن منصور [+ 1] 1
شهرناز بنت صعلوک بن ابو نصر بزنی بنکاح درست صحیح چنانک خدای تبارک و تعالي فرمود [و] 2
رسول صل الله علیه. اصل کابین سه هزار درم آنچ نیمه باشد یک هزار پانصد درم بداد. از 3
جمله این کابین چهار پاره زمین اندر شهر بامیان بمحلت چهارده بدشت فنجبهار زیرین یک سراي بده فنجبهار زیرین، یک سرای بده [+/- 1] یکی را نام حراحی (؟) خوانند. دیگر پاره را نام ناوک خوانند. سه دیگر 4
پاره را را نام زیرجوي خوانند. چهارم پاره را براکوه خوا[نـ]ـند درختان که در براکوه است سپیدار غیر ان. 5
از جمله‌ این چهار پاره زمین درخت سپیدار باغ فنجبهار سرای فنج‌بهار سرای لاسون جمله این همه از چهل چهار 6
تیر هفت تیر مشاع نابخش کرده. پاره حر احی (؟) را اول حدش زمین سرهنگ بوالفتح. دیگر حدش زمین دهقان 7
 بن شاه زمین سرهنگ بوالفتح. سه دیگر حدش زمین سرهنگ بوالفتح زمین خواجه عبدالرحمن. چهارم حدش 8
طریق دشت. زمین ناوک را دو حدش جوي مادیان سه دیگر حدش زمین ویرثان عمر بقال زمین عبدالرحمن  9
بن علي. چهارم حدش زمین والده عبدالرحمن بن علي. زمین زیرجوي را اول حدش زمین ویرثان عمر بقال دیگر حدش 10
زمین دهقان بن شاه بن منصور. سه دیگر حدش چهارم حدش جوی مادیان. زمین براکوه با درختان بید و زردآلو و 11
سپیدارها که بر سر این زمینست اند[ر] چهار [حد] اول حدش جوی تاک راغ. دیگر حدش درختان علی بن شاه. سه دیگر 12
حدش جوي مادیان. چهارم حدش زمین درختان میدان کوتوالی. یکي باغ بده فنجبهار زیرین است. اول حدش طریق ده. دیگر 13
حدش سراي دان (؟) [سه] دیگر حدش باغ ویرثان علي بن ابوالحسن. چهارم حدش خلف سرای که در ده فنجبهار زیرین است 14
اندر چهار حد. اول حدش سرای بونصر پوستگر. دیگر حدش راه ده. سه دیگر حدش خانه بو خلف بو محمد. چهارم حدش خانه ستي. 15
سرایی که در ده لاسونست اندر چهار حد. اول حدش خانه مانک بن ابرهیم بن یوسف الخیاط. دیگر حدش طریق. سه دیگر حد[ش] 16
خانه ویرثان احمد بن ابوالغفار (؟). چهارم حدش کوه. بستد شهرناز بنت صعلوک بن ابونصر از شوی خود الیاس بن شاه  17
بن منصور از جهت کابین جمله این زمینهای درختان باغ سرای‌های که حد کردیم وصف کردیم. از جمله چهل چهار تیر 18
هفت تیر مشاع نابخش کرده بدین قوم خود داد با همه حقهاي زمینهاي درختان را باغ را اندر امذن اب بیرون شدن اب زیرابی زبرابی 19
با همه حقهای وي. سرایها را اندر اندروني بیرون شدن وی زیر وی زبر وی با همه حقهاي وي بخرید شهرناز بنت صعلوک 20
بن ابونصر از شوی خوذ الیاس بن شاه بن منصور از جهت کابین بخریذ. جمله این زمینهای درختان باغ سراي‌های از جمله چهل چهار تیر 21
هفت تیر مشاع نابخش کرده بخرید. سه هزار درم آنچ نیمه باشد یک هزار پانصد درم. از جمله این سه هزار درم کابین که مرا با 22
شوی خوذ الیاس بن شاه حق بوذ بدین حصه زمینهای د[ر]ختان باغ سرای‌هاي که نام‌زد کردیم وصف کردیم حد کرذیم با همه حقهای وی 23
مشاع خریدم بدین سه هزار درم. و این حصه زمینهای درختان باغ سراي‌یهای بدین قوم خوذ شهرناز بنت صعلوک سپرذ ملک ویست 24
حق ویست این شهرناز بنت صعلوک این حصه زمینهای باغ درختا[ن] سرای‌های در قبض خوذ گرفت. گرفتن که آن را بازگشتن نباشد. 25
بدین سه هزار درم کابین قطع کرذم مرا از جهت کابین تا شوی خود الیاس بن شاه بن منصور خصومتي نماند نه بدین جهان نه بدان جهان. 26
و اگر کسي دعوي کند باطل باشد. هر حقي که مرا بوذ در گردن شوي خوذ الیاس بن شاه همه بذین حصه زمینهای درختان باغ سرای‌های قطع کردم. 27
و الیاس بن شاه درک ضمان بپذیرفت. اگر کسي دعوی کند حصه این زمینهاي را درختان را باغ را سراي‌ها را دعوی بازدارم و اگر بعلم (؟) عاجز 28
شوم بهای ان بازدهم. و هر ذو خصم بدین رضا دادند. شهرناز بنت صعلوک این زمینهای درختان باغ سراي‌های از جمله چهل چهار تیر هفت [تیر] 29
مشاع نابخش کرده در قبض خوذ گرفت از جمله این کابین سه هزار درم بیزار شد. و این خط نبشته‌ امذ بعقل تمام بطوع برغبت بیکره تا [بـ]ـدست  30
وي حجت باشد بگوایی کسهایی که نامهای خوذ باخر این خط مسما کردند و این خط نبشته امذ هفده روز گذشته از ماه ذوالقعده سنه 31
سبعین و اربع مـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــایه. 32

Folio:
1 This document was written to certify the engagement of Ilyās b. Shāh b. Manṣūr [+1]
2 with Shahrnāz bt. Ṣuʿlūk b. Abū Naṣr [whom] he takes as his wife in holy and proper matrimony in accordance with the order of God the blessed, the almighty [through]
3 the Prophet, peace be upon him. He gave the principal of the bride-price [valued at] 3,000 dirhams, half of which is 1,500 dirhams: This
4 bride-price includes four parcels of land in the city of Bamiyan in the Chahār Dih area in the plain of lower Fanjbahār, a villa in the village of lower Fanj Bahār, a villa in the village of Lāsūn (?). The first [parcel] is called Ḥarāḥī (?), the other  parcel is called Nāwak, and the third parcel is called
5 Zīrjūy. The fourth parcel is called Barākūh, [and includes] the trees in Barākūh, white poplars and others.
6 These four parcels contain: land, white poplar trees, the garden of Fanj Bahār, the villa of Fanj Bahār, and the Lāsūn villa, [which] together make up seven out of the 44 
7 tīr of the area of contiguous, and undivided [land]. The first boundary of the Ḥarāḥī parcel is the land of General Bū al-Fatḥ. The [second] boundary is the land of Dihqān
8 b. Shāh [and] the land of General Bū al-Fatḥ. The third boundary is the land of General Bū al-Fatḥ [and] the land of Khwāja ʿAbd al-Raḥman. The fourth boundary
9 is the path along the plain. The Nāwak parcel is delimited on two sides by the Mādiyān stream, and the third boundary is the property of the heirs of ʿUmar the grocer [and] the land of ʿAbd al-Raḥman
10 b. ʿAlī. The fourth boundary is the land of the mother of ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAlī. The first boundary of Zīrjūy parcel the land of the heirs of ʿUmar the grocer, while the another boundary
11 is the land of Dihqān b. Shāh b. Manṣūr. The Mādiyān stream delimits its third and fourth boundaries. The Barākūh parcel consists of willows, apricots,
12 and white poplar trees, which stand on all four side[s] of [the land]. The first boundary is the Tāk-i Rāgh stream, the second are the trees of ʿAlī b. Shāh. The third
13 boundary is the Mādiyān stream. The fourth boundary is the land and trees of Kūtwālī Square. [Regarding the gardens], one garden is found in the village of lower Fanj Bahār whose first boundary is the village path. The second boundary
14 is Dān’s (?) villa. The third boundary is the garden of the heirs of ʿAlī b. Abu al-Ḥasan. The fourth boundary is the back of the house which is in the village of lower Fanj Bahār 
15 [which] has four boundaries: the first is the villa of Bū Naṣr, the tanner, the second boundary is the the village path, the third boundary is the villa of Bū Muḥammad b. Khalaf, the fourth boundary is the house of Sittī.
16 The villa that is in the village of Lāsūn has four boundaries: the first boundary is the house of Mānak b. Ibrāhīm b. Yūsuf the tailor. The second boundary is the path. The third boundary is
17 the house of the heirs of Aḥmad bin Abū al-Ghaffār (?). The fourth boundary is the mountain. Shahrnāz bt. Ṣuʿlūk b. Abū Naṣr received from her husband Ilyās b. Shāh 
18 b. Manṣūr as her bride-price all of these parcels of lands and trees, garden and villas, which we have delimited and described. Out of the total 44 shares, 
19 he gave seven entire and undivided shares to his wife, along with all the rights to the lands, trees, and garden, and the entry and exit of water, above and below stream with all rights, 
20 the villas and the right to come and go under them and over them, with all the connected rights. Shahrnāz bt. Ṣuʿlūk bin Abū Naṣr  bought [these] rights pertaining to the entry and exit [of water], above and below [stream].
21 from her husband Ilyās b. Shāh b. Manṣūr as her bride-price. She bought all these lands, trees, garden, and villas, totalling seven out of
22 44 entire and undivided shares. “Three thousand dirhams, half of which is 1,500 dirhams out of the total of bride-price of 3,000 dirhams 
23 from my husband Ilyās b. Shāh were my entitlement. This share [includes] parcels, trees, a garden, and villas that have been named, described, and delimited with all relevant rights. 
24 I bought the undivided [shares] with these 3,000 dirhams”. And this share of lands, trees, garden, villas, [Iliyās] bestowed to his wife, Shahrnāz bt. Ṣuʿlūk. It is her property
25 and [she has] rights to these [properties]. Shahrnāz bt. Ṣuʿlūk received this share of lands, garden, trees and villas. There is nor return from this transaction [of receipt].
26 [She declared,] “I have separated from these 3,000 dirhams of a bride-price. There is no more dispute remains regarding the bride-price from my husband Ilyās bin Shāh bin Manṣūr, neither in this world nor in the next.
27 Should anyone make a claim, it shall be invalid. I have foregone all rights that I had from my husband, Ilyās b. Shāh regarding this share of lands, trees, garden and villas.”
28 Ilyās b. Shāh accepted the guarantee against defect in title. [He declared,] “If anyone makes a claim to this share of lands, trees, garden and villas, I will counter the claim, and if I am unable [+1]
29 I will pay back its value”. Both parties agreed to this. Shahrnāz bt. Ṣuʿlūk received seven undivided shares out of the 44 shares of lands, trees, garden and villas,
30 and renounced 3,000 dirhams of her total bride-price. This document was written in a state of sound mind, with consent and of his own volition, without coercion, so as to serve as proof
31 for her. The witnesses are the persons who have written their names at the end of this document. This document was written on the 17th day of the month of Dhū al-Qaʿda of the year
32 470.

35 Amīrak [b.] Abū Naṣr b. Aḥmad witnessed [this], and wrote in his own hand. Valid. Muḥammad b. Shīs witnessed [this], and wrote in his own hand. Valid.
