زندگاني خواجه والد نقیب جلیل سید معتمد 2
الحضره در کامرانی جاود باد تا هزار سال [+1] سلام 3
تحیت فرزند خود بخواند و بداند کی سلام 4
تا شما را دلفارغ باشد و دیگر بداند که چند 5
گاه شد کما از آن جا برفتیم یک نامه نفرستادي 6
ان شاء الله که خیر باشد باید که هرک بیاید 7
خبر سلامتي بفرستي تا مرا تسلي باشد و سلام 8
خواجه عمر را محمد را و عثمان را سلام رساند 9
خوشوم را سلام رساند کند 10
خواهر کدبانو زن را سلام رساند والسلم (؟) 11
خواجه ابو بکر حجه (؟) را سلام رسانی 12
نویسندی این خط پسر محمد ایزدیار سلام کرد (؟) و خواجه پدرم را سلا[م] رساني. 13
Translation
Folio:
1 In the name of God the Merciful, the Compassionate   Muḥammad [b.] ʿ[+/- 1]
2 May the life of [my] father, the honourable, the master, the great, the trusted one of the
3 [royal] court, endure for a thousand years [+1]. May he read 
4 salutations and greetings from his child!
5 Know that I [am] well, and that you do not need worry about me. Know also that it has been some time
6 since we left, and you have not sent us a single letter.
7 God willing, all is well [with you]. You must send word through whomever comes here
8 about your wellbeing, so that I can be reassured. That is all.
9 Send greetings to Khwāja ʿUmar, Muḥammad and ʿUthmān.
10 Send greetings to my mother-in-law.
11 Send greetings to [my] sister, the wife and mistress of the house. That’s all.
12 Send greetings to Khwāja Abū Bakr [b.] Muḥammad (?).
13 [vertical, right margin:] The scribe of this letter, the son of Muḥammad [b.] Īzadyār, sends you his greetings, and asks that you send greetings to my father, the khwāja.
