Content
Fragment of a letter, which is difficult to decipher. The sender seems to explain why the proceeds from a sale hadn’t yet reached the lord whom he addresses in the letter. The sender adds that he has sold straw, firewood, donkeys and a cow in exchange for grain, asking the lord to retrieve from his brother the amount due. A second interpretation is that the sender hasn’t got any money to give to the lord, and is sending the lord to his brother to collect the amount due.
