در آنچ مردی از یکی زمینی خرید ووقت بیع  1
نگفت کی ازجهت کسی دیگر می خرم چون بیع   2
کرد ومال خود بداد این فروشنده را پشیمان  3
شد و آمد و مردمان گرد اورد کی این زمین بمن  4
باز فروش این بیع اقالت کردند وبها بازستد  5
ونزل برگرفت از بعد ان امدست برمشتری  6
دعوی می کند تو چنین گفته‌ ای کی من ازجهت  7
خواهرزاده خود می خرم اکنون امده است و دعوی  8
می کند کی چون بیع اقالت کردست  9
وبها باز داده ونزل برگرفته  10
او را دعوی رسد یا نی بیان فرمایند  11
             نی والله اعلم  12
             کتبه عمر بن محمد  13
Translation
Folio:
1 regarding a man who bought a plot of land from someone and  
2 omitted to mention at the point of sale that, “I am buying on someone else’s behalf.” After the sale [was concluded] 
3 and [the buyer] had made his payment, the seller regretted [the sale].  
4 He came [here] and gathered the people, [and said], “Sell me back this  
5 land!” They annulled this sale, and [the buyer] took back the payment, 
6 and took possession of the harvest. After that, [the seller] came [here] to make a claim against the  
7 buyer [, stating] “You said, ‘I am buying on behalf of  
8 my nephew’.” Now he has come [here] and is making a claim. 
9 Given that the sale has been cancelled,  
10 the payment was returned, and the harvest was received, 
11 is his claim valid or not? Can you kindly explain? 
12      No. God knows best. 
13      It was written by ʿUmar b. Muḥammad.
