فقیه احمد خو خواجه زکی محمد گفته بود که کاروانیان بدهند 13
 بر وجه سلامی ایشان گفتند که ما سلامی دادایم دعاگو را ندادند 14
بحکم بهای دو تا بخاری و یک عدد تربو بحضور خواجه احمد [+ 1] 15
در بها ای آن شست نه نیم درمسنگ 16
جمله باشد سیصد نود دو درمسنگ این کسان را که گفتم 17

باقی باد در دولت و دوستکامي دین پروری دنیا و اخرت 19
آنچ بود بنده احوال بواجبي واز نمود تا حال بنده معلوم باشد 20

 یک دینار قلب بنده از جمله این سال روا نداشتست و ندارند  2

Translation
Folio:
1 Lāhūrī. My servant [received] a loan from Ismāʿīl Lāhūrī.
2 two [?] at the hands of the commanders Ḥusayn and Ḥasan b. Sām. The footsoldiers from
3 the city garrison, Muḥammad and ʿAlī. When I arrive in Bamiyan on
4 the third week, there was Chamārtī, 167 dirhamsang.

5 To the name of commander Ḥusayn Arghandāwāy, 215 dinars; again, 25.
Total 40 dirhamsang.

6 To the name of the commander ʿUmar Kishtābī,
50 diramsang.		 To the name of Muḥammad the dihqān’s nephew and the other foot soldier, 20 diramsang.
7 Expenses of the secretary and scribe and servant,
20 diramsang.		  
8   To the hand of the foot-soldier Muḥammad,
three and half diramsang.
9 Counterfeit [coins] two diramsang.

Two Bukhara fabrics and two fine tarbū cloth, which Khwāja Muḥammad Gardīzī had brought for the
11 servant of the amir ḥājib (lord chamberlain?), of which one fold of tarbū fine cloth reached me.
12 The remaining [fabrics and cloths] were not for me, but were given to me for safe-keeping. The same with the one
13 of the faqīh Aḥmad. Khwāja Zakī Muḥammad had said, “The caravan people must present a greeting gift. They said, “We have already given greeting gifts.” So they didn’t give me anything.
14 In accordance with [your order], the value of two Bukhara fabrics and one fine tarbū cloth was paid in the presence of Khwāja Aḥmad [+1]
15 at 69 and a half diramsangs.
16 The total is 392 diramsangs which has been given to the people I mentioned.
17 They also took the value of my own goods. This [report] is presented to keep you informed.
18 May your good fortune, peace, and upholding of the faith last in this life and the next.
19 I have explained everything necessary so that my situation is clear.
1 so that the lord is clear and understands that I
2 did not take—nor will I ever take—one counterfeit dinar from this year’s earnings.
3 With the favour of the almighty God.           Thus, your eminence should issue whatever order he sees fit
4 on this matter.
